It’s a bird, it’s a plane — no, it’s the iPhone 5!

I don’t anticipate writing frequently about the iPhone 5 (and, when I do, I’ll likely switch over to a dedicated iPhone 5 blog).

The reason why? The insanely groundless nature of the current rumors about the device. They run the gamut from “the iPhone 5 will be nothing like the iPhone 4″ to “the iPhone 5 will be pretty much the same as the iPhone 4, but on steroids.”

My own checklist for the next iPhone? Frankly, I’m more interested in the operating system and the built-in apps. Would somebody please do something about the outdated and non-intuitive Calendar?
